BEHIND THE JOURNEYS
The person behind it.
Yataara is my personal space for
documenting the places I've been,
the roads I've taken, and the moments
I don't want to forget.
It isn't a travel guide.
It's simply my way of remembering.
"Some journeys are worth taking twice — once with your feet, and once through memory."
Always looking for the next road.
I'm someone who finds it difficult to pass a road without wondering where it leads.
I enjoy slow journeys, unfamiliar places, mountain mornings, long drives and quiet evenings where there is nowhere else to be.
Yataara is where I collect those moments.
The places are temporary. The memories aren't.
We take hundreds of photographs while travelling. Then we return home, put them somewhere on our phones, and eventually forget about most of them.
I wanted something different.
Yataara is my attempt to slow that process down. To take a few photographs, write a few words and remember what it actually felt like to be there.
Every journey doesn't need to be extraordinary. Sometimes the smallest moments become the ones worth keeping.
Travel slowly.
Look closely.
Remember everything.
There is always another road.
And somewhere down that road, there will probably be another story worth remembering.
